As of this writing, she stars with Justin Long in director Nanette Burstein's Going the Distance, a romance-comedy about a long distance relationship. Since E.T. Barrymore has indeed gone the distance as an actress.Never mind the dramas she's starred in. Most of the fans prefer to see her in lighthearted and romantic movies that make them feel good. She was well-received with Adam Sandler in The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. There's hardly any reason to say she won't be as well-remembered in Going the Distance. The movie is kind of like Sleepless in Seattle turned into a comedy. It's another movie for Drew Barrymore fans!
