Amy Adams Carrying a Coach Clutch

 Amy Adams at the Coach event benefitting the Children's Defense Fund held in L.A. on April 20. 

The actress, soon to play Lois Lane in the new Superman movie, brought color to the event in her hair-matching bright dress which she teamed with a lovely peachy Coach "Madison" Gathered Leather clutch, and metallic heels.

Amy Adams in L'Wren Scott at the 2011 Oscars

Best supporting actress nominee Amy Adams is always elegant, and attending the 83rd Annual Academy Awards last night was no different.

With all the pale and blush colors she usually wears, the dark color choice of her L'Wren Scott dress is a little unexpected; it seemed almost black in some lights but showed up a range of blue hues under the flashbulbs.

Amy always picks a shade that compliments her colorings and even if she didn't with her gown, she did with the jewelry - over $1,000,000 worth of Cartier diamonds and emeralds.

It's been mentioned before and Amy Adams did have just a touch of a mini Nicole Kidman look at the BAFTAs last night.

Complimenting her colorings, Amy wore a peach-toned gown from Elie Saab.  It's unusual to see this kind of strap on the red carpet but Amy looked gorgeous in the gown which was worn with Cartier jewelry.

Overall Rating - Fab Color Choice.  Lovely Hairdo.  A+ 9/10 - No 10, hopefully that can be reserved for a stunning Oscars look.

The Fighter's Best Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams looked regal in her chic Hervé Leroux gown and simple yet ultra-chic ponytail as she attended the SAG Awards.

Under the dress were some silver Casadei peep-toes and, completing the look, jewelry from Kimberly McDonald.

Just a few more styles from the Vanity Fair Oscars bash.

Anna Paquin was chic in her black Roland Mouret Spring 2010 dress teamed with some beautiful touches of gold. Natalie Portman opted for elegance in her strapless grey Lanvin dress, Tiffany & Co. jewels and Aldo "Segura" peep-toe heels.

Pregnant Amy Adams, on the red carpet with her fiance Darren Le Gallo, was beautiful in a blue Alberta Ferretti design.

While Mad Men star Jon Hamm was dapper in his suit his wife Jennifer Westfeldt was simply elegant in a white strapless gown and emerald and diamond jewels.

Dianna Agron wore a white and gold-studded Temperly London design.

Olivia Wilde was in a neutral colored Roland Mouret gown with ruffles down the front.

A red clutch accessorized. And Jessica Simpson was looking gorgeous in a black gown with a bejewelled brooch for added glam.

Amy dressed her growing bump well in a bow-topped and ruffled red Carolina Herrera dress - which was modified just for her, maybe from this gown - plus the red Kimberly McDonald earrings and Christian Louboutin heels she wore to Letterman.

She also carried a Louboutin clutch.

Amy Adams' Lovely Late Show Look

Christmas might be over but Amy Adams was all wrapped up in her grey coat as she arrived for her appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman, on January.

The expectant Enchanted star was all co-ordinated, matching her red dress (which you can see just a little of), and ruby Kimberly McDonald earrings with the red trim on her lovely gray coat. She also wore some platform - and red soled - Christian Louboutin peep-toes.

Update - Amy's gorgeous coat and her silk dress are both modified designs from Carolina Herrera.

Claire, Emily and Amy at the LA BAFTA Awards

Three of Hollywood's most elegant young actresses were out for the 18th Annual BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards, in Century City on November 5.

Claire Danes looked sweet and sophisticated in a navy and white dress Oscar de la Renta sheath and black peep-toe heels.

English The Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt went rather sultry in a deep red Basil Soda dress with dramatic Julia Post earrings and very well co-ordinating Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin sandals.

Finally, Amy Adams, who looked simply sleek in a midnight blue shirred Azzaro dress, paired with black peep-toe platform pumps and an Irit bracelet.

Amy Adams Gets a Night at the Museum

Amy Adams is known to many because of her role in the move Enchanted. There she was like a princess. In her movie with Ben Stiller in Night at the Museum 2, she's Amelia Earhart, who we all know as the lost woman aviator. She wears a tight-fitting aviator outfit, complete with jacket and boots and it gives her a sexy appeal that only she can pull off. Of course, the real Amelia Earhart wore only loose outfits, but this is a movie and it has to show Adams's assets, so to speak.

Indeed, Amy Adams has got a lot of assets to show in Night at the Museum 2 and she's an eyeful whatever part of the museum she goes and whoever she's with - Ben Stiller, Rodin's The Thinker - or a Degas sculpture. She's definitely the most unforgettable character in Night at the Museum 2 and the pictures here show why she's also unforgettable outside of the movie.

Star Styles at the Oscar Nominee Luncheon

A look at a few of the nominees who attended the Oscar Nominee Luncheon held three weeks before the big event.

Kate Winslet, who is nominated for The Reader, kept it very simple in a plain black top and skirt by Helmut Lang.

Anne Hathaway, up for Best Actress for Rachel Getting Married, was pretty in a cream Chloe dress teamed with golden Cascadi heels.

Amy Adams was a standout in her bright blue RM by Roland Mouret dress, also matched with gold heels. The actress who perfomed two songs at last year's awards for Enchanted is up again for Best Supporting Actress this year for Doubt.

And Penelope Cruz was another star who went down the more low-key route in an Yves Saint Laurent pantsuit.
