Kicking off the Cannes Film Festival was the premiere of the new Robin Hood movie starring Russell Crowe.
Stealing half the red carpet from the stars was Eva Longoria in a white Pucci gown which featured an amazingly long train. Cannes jury member Kate Beckinsale was gorgeous in a swirling Marchesa Spring 2010 collection gown. Cate Blanchett - who's playing Maid Marion - wore a dramatic black gown from Alexander McQueen. And Salma Hayek was back to her best in a garnet shaded Gucci dress.
Cate Blanchett back on home turf for the Australian premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Cate sparkled in a blue sequined Balenciaga dress, similar to the one from the same collection worn by Jennifer Connelly at her movie's premiere last week.
Cate Blanchett pictured on the Hollywood Walk of Fame where she became the 2376th person to be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame.
Cate appeared to be channelling the fashion of Katherine Hepburn for the event, dressed in a 30s style pinstripe jacket and white slacks combo by Giorgio Armani teamed with a sleek hairdo and red lips.
