Sex and the City 2 Premiere Looks

Was originally going to give a different post for each look with a lot more detail but am so late covering this that I've given the looks from the SATC2 premieres one quick round-up.

On May 24, the movie's main gals Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon attended the hyped up New York premiere.

SJP stole the limelight from her other glam co-stars, donning a neon Haute Couture Valentino gown. Fred Leighton jewelry and Ferragmo pumps completed her look.

Kim sparkled in a golden Naeem Khan design plus Kimberly McDonald jewels.

Kristin went like her character Charlotte and opted for girly pink in a vintage strapless dress, teamed with a crystal Judith Leiber clutch.

Cynthia was boring in comparison to the others, but it was still a great look in her strapless black Carolina Herrera gown.
A few days later they hit up London for the movie's UK premiere.

Always taking risks, SJP wore a black tulle hat with her dramatic Alexander McQueen designed gown and heels.

Kristin swapped roles with Kim, taking the gold sparkly reins here, in a vintage Norman Norell design.

Kim wore a strapless black satin Thierry Mugler dress.

Cynthia wasn't the boring one at this premiere, she looked fab in her blue Narciso Rodriguez.

Sarah Jessica Parker Is Carried Away in Sex and the City 2

Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie is the the star in Sex and the City 2. The story revolves around her. After all these years in the series trying out new things and getting into different situations, the character has been made to evolve into a more mature woman in this sequel and she wants more from the world after having gone through the challenges every woman faces. It's time to do the things she hadn't done before and she's doing it with her friends in a grand trip that will make for deeper frendships.

But Carrie is a fictional character. Parker is real, and yet, in more ways than one, they are the same. You can see how she has changed and remained the same as an actress through the years (left). Just like Carrie in Sex and the City 2, Parker moves into a new era of accomplishments, and her role in this movie is just one of more where fans will surely enjoy watching.
